چکیده

Knowledge about the extent of genotype in environment interaction is helpful for farmers and plant breeders. This because it helps them choose proper strategies agricultural management breeding new cultivars. The main contribution this paper to investigate on environmental using GGE biplot method (Genotype Genotype-by-Environment) ten canola experimental design was a randomized complete block (RCBD) with three replications assess stability grain yield cultivars five regions Iran, including Birjand, Karaj, Kashmar, Sanandaj, Shiraz, within two years 2016 2017. results combined ANOVA illustrated that effects environment, × were highly significant at 1%. Variance Analysis showed impacts, genotype, effect, produced 68.44%, 18.63%, 12.9% total variance. graphs constructed PCA. first principle component (PC1) explained 65.3%, second (PC2) 18.8% variation. research examined polygon diagrams identify top genotypes four mega-environments. Also, appropriate each diagnosed. Using biplot, possible make visual comparisons superior canola. Accordingly,. obtained from graphical analysis indicated Licord, Hyola 401 Okapi highest selected as most stable genotypes. Karaj region chosen where screening very suitable. Based ranking suitable (Karaj), desired genotype. In examining heatmap drawn between investigated environments, lot similarity Sarigal, observed environments. enabled detection environments grouping based yield. can be used both extension future programs. Influence of lead on growth and nutrient accumulation in canola (Brassica napus L.) cultivars.

Canola (Brassica napus L.) is commonly used as a hyper-accumulator for phytoextraction of heavy metals from soil and water. Like many other heavy metals, lead (Pb) contaminates soil, water and air and thus it is a great problem. This study was conducted to investigate toxic effects of Pb on growth and nutrient uptake in four canola cultivars. Each of four cultivars of canola (Con-II, Con-III, L...

EFFECTS OF NaCl TREATMENTS ON SEED GERMINATION AND ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF CANOLA (BRASSICA NAPUS L.) CULTIVARS

Effects of salt stress on germination, seedling growth and activity of antioxidant enzymes in leaves of six cultivars of canola (Brassica napus L.) were investigated on two F1 hybrids (Hyola401, Hyola330) and four open pollinated cultivars (Zarfam, Okapi, RGs003 and Sarigol). Seeds were germinated under various levels of salinity (0, 50, 100, 150 and 200 mM NaCl solutions). An increase in NaCl ...

Determination of Yield and Some Quality Characteristics of Winter Canola (Brassica napus ssp. oleifera L.) Cultivars

Canola is a specific edible type of rapeseed, developed in the 1970s, which contains about 40 percent oil. This research was carried out to determine the yield and some quality characteristics of some winter canola cultivars during the 2010-2011 vegetation period in Central Anatolia of Turkey. In this research; Oase, Dante, Californium, Excalibur, Elvis, ES Hydromel, Licord, Orkan, Vectra, Nels...

Application of GGE biplot graphs in multi-environment trials on selection of forest trees

In the studies on selection and population genetics of forest trees that include the analysis of genotype × environment interaction (GE), the use of biplot graphs is relatively rare. This article describes the models and analytic methods useful in the biplot graphs, which enable the analyses of mega-environments, selection of the testing environment, as well as the evaluation of genotype stabil...

Effect of Salinity on Growth, Ions Distribution, Accumulation and Chlorophyll Concentrations in Two Canola (Brassica napus L.) Cultivars

Salinity is a major environmental factor that influences rapeseed production in arid and semi-arid regions of central and southern Iran. In this study, effect of applied NaCl on shoot and root growth and distribution and accumulation of Na, Cl, K, Ca and Mg in the canola plant (Brassica napus L. cv: Hayola 308 and cv: PP 401) was investigated. The experiment was arranged in a completely randomi...
